Future Plans for Growth:
- Planned portfolio expansion ahead.
By 2026, the REIT targets acquiring Le Méridien Petaling Jaya, Hyatt Place Johor Bahru, and Première Hotel in Klang. This will be followed by the potential acquisition of gateway@klia2 between 2027 and 2028, expanding its footprint into airport retail and enhancing income diversification.
- Continuous adoption of various asset management strategies.
Paradigm REIT implements various asset management strategies aimed at sustaining high occupancy rates and maximising asset value. This includes engaging advertising and promotional campaigns to drive footfall, such as utilising the parking area at Bukit Tinggi Shopping Centre for marketing events. Paradigm REIT also actively identifies asset enhancement opportunities, such as converting the Level 3 car park in Bukit Tinggi into an indoor go-kart circuit million, converting common areas for additional retail space and into F&B kiosks, and built Escape Challenge Amusement Park in Paradigm JB to attract young visitors and families.
- Proactive lease management.
Paradigm REIT sees further rental upside through proactive lease management, whereby the Manager actively engages tenants to secure early lease renewals, drive tenant retention, and enhance occupancy and trade mix across its properties. Solar PV systems have been installed at Paradigm Mall JB and are planned for Bukit Tinggi Shopping Centre to contribute to long-term cost efficiency and support ESG initiatives.
