Farmiera Berhad

Future Plans for Growth:
- Commitment to food safety and quality excellence
The group places strong emphasis on quality assurance and compliance with stringent food safety standards. Its self-operated farms adopt closed-house systems and “all-in-all-out” practices with high biosecurity, ensuring hygienic and disease-free environments for broiler rearing. Farm A’s MyGAP certification from DVS and ongoing applications for other farms further demonstrate adherence to good agricultural practices. Meanwhile, its processing facilities are accredited with MeSTI and Halal certifications.
- Stable supply chain
Farmiera secures a reliable supply of day-old chicks (DOCs) and feed through established local suppliers, enabling better control over input costs and operational efficiency. To complement its self-operated farms, the group partners with 38 contract farmers across five states, expanding production capacity without significant capital outlay. This hybrid model ensures continuous supply stability, optimises cost structure, and supports scalability to meet growing market demand.
- Long-standing relationships with reputable customers
Farmiera has built enduring relationships with major local supermarket and hypermarket chains through consistent product quality and timely delivery. These long-term partnerships, including with Segi Marine Enterprise Sdn Bhd since 2018, reflect strong customer trust and satisfaction. The group’s reliability in meeting retail industry standards positions it well for recurring orders and strengthens its reputation as a preferred poultry supplier in Malaysia.
